San Francisco Industrial Property Investor Lane Stephens
Lane Stephens joined the San Francisco, California-based industrial property development company D. R. Stephens and Company, LLC, in 2001. He first began engaging with the company in 1998, when D. R. Stephens had just two industrial properties to its name. Under the leadership of Lane Stephens, the company’s portfolio has expanded to include more than 30 industrial and research and development properties. He oversees all acquisitions and portfolio decisions, as well as daily activities in areas of sales and leasing. He previously gained experience in the Bay Area industrial property market as an associate at Colliers International.
Mr. Stephens studied history at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Bay Area chapter of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks. He has helped launch 14 partnerships during his career, which have combined for over $500 million in Bay Area properties. In addition to industrial and commercial real estate, his professional areas of interest include securities investment, property development, residential land entitlement, and mortgage default opportunities.
